A bracelet worn by Pte Charles St Dennis of Ottawa. He had served in No 5 Company of the Pre War Militia CASC. His service number 30021 indicates he was one of the first recruits to sign up in 1914. His service number also allows us to identify him through his attestation papers. He served with the 1st Canadian Divisional Train.
The Identification discs worn by Pte Phillip John Hickey 2004394 of Vancouver British Columbia. An Auto Mechanic by trade, likely spent time repairing trucks as the CASC adopted mechanical transport.Worn with his ID disks are a ring of some sentimental value as well as a good luck charm of St Barbara patron saint of miners.
