Mobilzed in May of 1940. It arrived in the United Kingdom in 1941.In June 1944, the 3rd Canadian Division played a large role in the D-Day assault of Normandy. It continued the liberation of NW Europe notably in the battle for the Schedlt and liberation of Holland.
