The RCASC served in every formation in the Canadian Army during WW2. As such, the corps wore a large number of formation patches. The history of Canadian Army Insignia during the war would be a study all its own. Our focus here is to illustrate the patches worn by the RCASC during this period.
Formation patches with RCASC directly embroidered into the patch began to make an appearance in 1941. By early 1944 the patches with the RCASC as part of the patch gave way to shoulder flashes worn over plain formation patches.
